7:00 pm: Stress and Burnout Workshop
Join Dr. Dana Steidtmann to talk further about burnout. What is it? How do we manage it? What are related factors, such as compassion fatigue, secondary trauma, and system issues. What strategies do we have to manage it? And if you decide to leave, what other options might you have? The group will have some information/education but will also have time for questions and general support from Dr. Steidtmann and your peers.

6:30 pm: Happiness and the Holiday Break
Are you hoping to actually enjoy your time off? Want to use the break to relax, recover, and to be celebrate and be jolly? Join happiness expert, Dr. Amy Lopez, as she talks about factors that influence our happiness, strategies to feel happier (even if it’s only for two weeks), and find ways to be more present in the moments that bring us joy. This is a workshop designed to have fun, laugh a little, and focus on the things that keep us going.

6:30 pm: Managing Anxiety - Holiday Edition
Dr. Scott Cypers will facilitate this once-a-month group to review anxiety management skills, but also to simply provide an open forum for questions about all things mental health related. This monthly workshop will give you some basic tips/techniques and give you a chance to talk through school year stresses. This month, the focus will be on navigating the holidays, spending time with family, and ways to survive all the hustle and bustle.
