4:30 pm: DBT Workshop for Educators
Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) is an evidence-based treatment aimed at helping people understand their emotions, manage strong emotions in themselves (and others) and learn strategies to accept when there are situations that can't be changed. Join Dr. Lopez for a 4-week workshop that will provide an overview of emotion regulation techniques, strategies for accepting reality, and how to access your "Wise Mind." We'll talk through techniques for co-regulation in your classroom as well as things you can do for yourself. You do not need to attend all four sessions, but each week will present new information and skills.
6:00 pm: Administrator-Only Workshop: Tools and Strategies
Administrators: Join Dr. Scott Cypers in discussing some tools and strategies to continue to help you navigate the challenges on the horizon, and get you through this period of the academic year!
