Frequently Asked Questions

How do I sign up?

It depends on what service you want. You can navigate our website for access to services. For anything else, you can send an email to contact the Well-Being Support Line at 303-724-2500 and they will help you figure out the right service for you and get you connected.

Who provides these services?

This program is through the University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus Department of Psychiatry. The programs are developed and overseen by CU faculty members. The treatment services and Well-Being support services are provided by crisis counselors, all of whom are either licensed clinicians or working on completing their Master's Degree in counseling, social work, or psychology. All services are supervised by a licensed mental health provider.

How much does this cost?

All services are free of charge. There is no cost to you.

I live in rural CO and can't come to campus in Aurora - can I still participate?

Yes! All of our services are provided via Telehealth, so there is no need to be in the metro area.

Can I get Professional Development Credit for participation?

Yes, We offer Professional Development for the workshops and online programs.

We are still doing groups and workshops by request. If you have a specific topic or interest area, we're happy to set something up. Just e-mail coloradoeducatorsupport@cuanschutz.edu and we will work with you on time, place, and topic. We will then offer PD certificates at the end of the group/workshop/training.

For personal Professional Development, you can get credit for each of the online modules. At the end of each of the modules, there is a button that will take you to a short quiz, which will then give them the verification they need for PD.

Who is eligible to receive these services?

There are only two criteria to receive these services: you must be employed in a school system and live in Colorado. You do not have to be a classroom teacher, you may be with the school or childcare system. We work with teachers and support staff, administrative staff, mental health staff, and Early Childhood Educators in public, private, and charter schools across the state.

Are all these services confidential?

Yes, everything is confidential. We will collect information for registration and evaluation purposes, but your information will never be shared. We will provide aggregate information about usage, but no private information will ever be shared.

How can I provide feedback?

You can take our short survey to help us better understand your needs: Educator Support Survey
